Reason for approving said request is based on current <br />economic slumps in home building. It is further directed that the Mayor <br />and City Administrator/Clerk sign said amendment for the City of Ramsey. <br />(Please refer to Barthel's Rum River Acres 2nd Addition for amendment). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Cox, Sorteberg, <br />Reimann and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />2) Hexon Regarding Box Car To Be Used as Storage Building: <br /> <br />Mr. Steve Meshbesher (Lawyer for Mr. Hexon) - Summarized the history of <br />the ltexon case for the Council. Mr. Hexon still wants to use the box car <br />for storage only. Although it has been a long time coming, Mr. Hexon has <br />agreed to bring the box car up to code and also to provide a performance <br />bond. Mr. Meshbesher then presented copies of site plan and estimates <br />from contractors for bringing the box car up to code. <br /> <br />Councilmember Cox - Council should agree to this because Mr. Hexon has <br />kept the apperance of this property in much better condition this past <br />S~llmo r. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec - Requests Mr. Meshbesher, Mr. Goodrich and Mr. Berg to <br />draw up an agreement for City of Ramsey and Mr. Hexon to enter into. <br /> <br />~otion by Councilmember Cox, seconded by Councilmember Re~nann to approve <br />Mr. Itexon's request, according to the terms written in the agreement <br />to be entered into by the City of Ramsey and Mr. Hexon. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />Reimann and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />3) Anoka County Regarding Community Block Grant Funds for Fiscal Year <br /> 1982: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner <br />to authorize the County to include it's population in the Anoka County <br />total population count for the Community Development Block Grant purposes. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />Reimann and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Mr. Schnelle There is talk of doing away with Revenue Sharing, but <br />Revenue Sharing would be a better program than Community Block Grant. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox, seconded by Councilmember Reimann, to <br />inform County that the City of Ramsey feels that if there is to be <br />any doing away with, it should be with the Community Block Grant. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
