I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I i Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Cox to approve of the proposed amendment to Barthel Homes, Inc. development agreement for Barthel's Rum River Acres 2nd Addition with a one (1) year extension. Reason for approving said request is based on current economic slumps in home building. It is further directed that the Mayor and City Administrator/Clerk sign said amendment for the City of Ramsey. (Please refer to Barthel's Rum River Acres 2nd Addition for amendment). Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Cox, Sorteberg, Reimann and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. 2) Hexon Regarding Box Car To Be Used as Storage Building: Mr. Steve Meshbesher (Lawyer for Mr. Hexon) - Summarized the history of the ltexon case for the Council. Mr. Hexon still wants to use the box car for storage only. Although it has been a long time coming, Mr. Hexon has agreed to bring the box car up to code and also to provide a performance bond. Mr. Meshbesher then presented copies of site plan and estimates from contractors for bringing the box car up to code. Councilmember Cox - Council should agree to this because Mr. Hexon has kept the apperance of this property in much better condition this past S~llmo r. Mayor Gamec - Requests Mr. Meshbesher, Mr. Goodrich and Mr. Berg to draw up an agreement for City of Ramsey and Mr. Hexon to enter into. ~otion by Councilmember Cox, seconded by Councilmember Re~nann to approve Mr. Itexon's request, according to the terms written in the agreement to be entered into by the City of Ramsey and Mr. Hexon. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, Reimann and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. 3) Anoka County Regarding Community Block Grant Funds for Fiscal Year 1982: Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner to authorize the County to include it's population in the Anoka County total population count for the Community Development Block Grant purposes. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, Reimann and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. Mr. Schnelle There is talk of doing away with Revenue Sharing, but Revenue Sharing would be a better program than Community Block Grant. Motion by Councilmember Cox, seconded by Councilmember Reimann, to inform County that the City of Ramsey feels that if there is to be any doing away with, it should be with the Community Block Grant.
