His personal opinion was to go. to a special zone. <br /> <br />Co~nissioner Deemer advises Mr. Bulen to bring in the golf course as a pUD. <br /> <br />Chairman Peterson advised Wes Bulen to have a request for re-zoning put <br />on the agenda for the October 6, 1981,'Planning and Zoning Commission. <br /> <br />Building Official Berg was asked to get a ruling from City Attorney <br />Goodrich as to whether or not the golf course could be zone Rural Open <br />Space. <br /> <br />Commissioner Deemer foresees a considerable traffic increase at the <br />proposed intersection'of the golf course. <br /> <br />Wes Bulen stated that he had been advised by the State Highway Depart-. <br />ment that there should be no major problems. He would probably have to <br />relocate his entrance to the property to the corner and someday he might <br />be required to have a right turn lane into the golf course. <br /> <br />Commissioner Schneider wondered if re-zoning this area now, not so much <br />for a golf course, but for a clubhouse with coffee shop, couldn't maybe <br />lead to some legal problems since in years past re-zoning of this <br />approximate area has been denied by the City Council. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />~one. <br /> <br />PLANNING C/Bg4ISSION INPUT <br /> <br />Chairman Peterson inquired as to the progress of the recodification of <br />the City Ordinances. <br /> <br />Building Official Berg stated that the recodification is not yet complete. <br /> <br />Commissioner Deemer stated he would like to see a conciseness in the <br />Ordinances. <br /> <br />P & Z/September 1, 1981 <br /> Page 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
