Precast <br />insulated panels and hollow core floor and roof plank are <br />now being shipped throoghout a 600-mile radius of <br />Minneapolis. Reimer, well <br />known real estate figure in <br />the Twin Cities and former <br />Mayor of Maple Grove, has <br />been named managcr of the <br />newly-established Real Es- <br />tate Division of Reco- <br />Sauer Development Com- <br />pany. The announcement <br />was made by Gary Sauer, <br />president of the Osseo-based <br />firm. <br /> <br />Reimer was formerly pres- <br />ident of Reimer Construc- <br />tion Co., a northwest su- <br />burban homcbuilder, and <br /> <br />the Reimcr Company, a real estate brokerage firm. For 15 <br />years (1966-81 ) h e also served as Mayor of the City of Maple <br />Grove. The facility will be owned by <br />Nicollet Clinic Properties and ]eased to The Nicollet <br />Clinic. The multi-specialty clinic will be built on the <br />Ridges Health Campus, the site of the proposed 120-bed <br />Fairview Hospital. The revenue bond was purchased by <br />the Aetna Casualty and Surety Company. <br /> <br />WESTWOOD ANNOUNCES <br />DEVELOPMENT PLANS <br />Westwood Planning and Engineering Company <br />announced completion of the development stage plans and <br />engineering specifications for a 124-acre office and limited <br />industrial park in Maple Grove. This development is <br />located along the west boundary of 1-94 and Bass Lake <br />Road interchange, and includes up to 62 industrial lots on <br />73 acres; 5 acres of commercial property; and 46 acres of <br />single family and medium-density residential property. <br />The developer, Jori Nelson, expects to begin construction <br />early in the spring of 1982. <br /> <br />EVENSON OFFICE PARK TO <br />ADD 80,000 SQUARE FEET <br />Horizon Development Company has started construc- <br />tion for a 30,000 square foot office building and has <br />announced plans for an additional 50,000 square foot <br />building, which will complete the Evenson Office Park <br />Project with four buildings totaling 140,000 square feet. <br /> <br />Architect for the development is David Todd Runyan <br />and Associates of St. Paul. Tax exempt financing was <br />placed by Gopher Securities for the current construc- <br />tion. Gay Realty, Inc. of Roseville is the agency for <br />leasing and managing the entire project. <br /> <br />NORTHLAND MORTGAGE <br />ARRANGES PERMANENT <br />FINANCING FOR EDEN PARK <br />Northland Mortgage Company announced it has <br />arranged construction and permanent financing with <br />Jerry Portnoy, president of GSB Investments, for <br />the Eden Park Business Center. The project, located on <br />Washingten Avenue South and West 76th Street in Edina, <br />will have two office-warehouse buildings which will each <br />consist of 37,000 square feet. The financing (in excess of $2 <br />million for both construction and permanent loans) was <br />arranged by Northland Mortgage through North- <br />western Mutual Life Insurance Company. <br /> <br /> <br />
