MAL WEISENBURGE~: ~ /~"Mr. Mal Weisenburger discussed this issue with Councilmembers at your September 22, 1981 meeting about what he wanted to do and the iconflict with the City Code. It was also pointed out to him that it would have to go before the Board of Adjustment which is the City Council. I think the Board of Adjustment will have to be very careful how they treat this case. I would not be surprised to see others want the same break if you grant the request. Consequently, I think if the Board of Adjustment grants approval, they should maybe require Mr. Weisenburger to post collateral that will guarantee that he will accomplish what he states he will do., The following documentation is hereby submitted for your review as enclosure (D4-a): a) Application for request b) Notice of public hearing c) Proposed agreement Council Action: Your action will be to approve/disapprove of his request. The following proposed motion is hereby submitted for your consideration: otio~ AY Co .un~ilmember ~~ and seconded by Councilmember ~-~;Ato approve/diSapprove of Mr. Weisenburger's request to constr~ct a storage pole building of 1,200 square feet on Lot 1, Block 1, Alpaca Estates. (If Council disapproves, your motion should state reason which would be that this request is not in ac- cordance with City policies, etc.) Further, the Council authorizes the Mayor and City Administrator to sign the agreement between Mr. Weisenburger and the City of Ramsey. (If you don't approve the re- quest, this portion would be omitted from the motion. If you amend the contract, the amending language should be contained in this motion.)
