They had a <br />meeting this past Wednesday, September 16, 1981, at Majestic Oaks <br />and explained how they would like to handle the budget problem, <br />which they claim comes from the operation of'the jail. <br /> <br />Most of the people in attendance at this meeting were the Police <br />Chi~.fs and City Administrators fmom the different cities in the <br />County. The County Sheriff at least found out that no one is sup- <br />pomting his thoughts on this matter, which would be to bill each <br />community separately for the following services: <br /> <br />a) $50 charge for booking a person <br />b) Bill back certain medical costs <br />c) Other ancillary costs <br /> <br />I'm enclosing enetosure (D2-a) which is the "AnOka County - Compar- <br />ative Statement of Levies for Law Enforcement - 1981" for your review. <br /> <br />Council Action: There is no action required on this item. <br /> <br />MEADOWBROOK ESTATES FINAL PLAT: <br /> <br />Enclosure (DS-b) contains their request for a six (6) month extension <br />of time. This is their second extension request. <br /> <br />Council Action: Your action will be to approve/disapprove of the <br />request contained in the above enclosure.
