Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg, <br />Reimann and Cox. Voting no None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Sorteberg and seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner <br />to adopt Resolution #81-113 Awarding the Bid on Improvement Project #81-8 <br />(159th Avenue N.W. Drainage) to Lillemo Backhoe Service in the amount of <br />$2,090.00. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg, <br />Reimann and Cox. Voting no None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner <br />setting the interest rate at 9% on assessment costs for the following im- <br />provement projects: <br /> <br />Project #80-15 Countryside Estates <br />Project #80-16 Zirconium Street N.W., Xenon Street N.W., 153rd <br /> Lane N.W. and 154th Lane N.W. <br />Project #80-17 Tungsten Street <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg, <br />Reimann and Cox. Voting no None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to <br />approve the assessment costs for Project #80-17 Tungsten Street as follows: <br /> <br />Front Footage and Unit Basis <br /> <br />Assess 22 Units <br />Assess 1,072 Front Foot <br /> <br />@ $200 Each <br />@ $3.70/Front Foot <br /> <br />$4,400.00 <br />$3,966.4O <br /> <br />Total Assessment Cost <br /> <br />$8,366.40 <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes. Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg, <br />Reimann and Cox. Voting-no None. <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich advised the Council'that he was receiving some <br />opposition in acquiring a utility and drainage easement from Sharon Wentura <br />who lives at 15Oth and Hematite. Mrs. Wentura opPoses giving the City an <br />easement for utility purposes and wants to give an easement only for surface <br />storm water drainage. Council agreed that a surface storm water drainage <br />easement only. would be satisfactory in this particular case. <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich advised the Council on the status of EML Enterprises/ <br />Dave Hexom box car. 'T~e Council agreed that as long as Mr. Hexom continues <br />in violation of the code, the City Attorney should continue to pursue all <br />necessary enforcement through the court system. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner to <br />adjourn the Council meeting, i <br /> <br />Motion carried.
