Councilmember Reimann - Would like to donate but we have no <br />funds available <br /> <br />Councilmember Sorteberg - No comment <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec suggested placing this request for funds on the agenda for <br />the Council meeting dated September 8, 1981. In the meantime, we will <br />review our budget. <br /> <br />CASE #13: REQUEST FOR TRAFFIC STUDY ON VARIOLITE: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Reimann <br />to adopt Resolution #81-112 Authorizing a Traffic Study be Conducted on <br />Variolite Street. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg, <br />Reimann and Cox. Voting no None. <br /> <br />CASE #14: MR. WES BULEN TO DISCUSS GOLF COURSE: <br /> <br />Mr. Wes Bulen stated he was informed by the County Assessor that taxes on <br />a golf course with a club house could be anywhere from $12,0OO to $20,000. <br />If this is so, he might have to scrap his plans of a golf course. The <br />Council informed Mr. Bulen that those tax figures are in the ballpark. <br />Councilmember Sorteberg advised Mr. Bulen to acquire some professional in- <br />dividuals to help him make a formal presentation in order to get approvals <br />necessary to start his project. <br /> <br />CASE #15: RAMSEY LANDFILL: <br /> <br />Council reviewed a memo from City Attorney Goodrich dated August 18, 1981 <br />as contained in Council agenda dated August 18, 1981 as enclosure (D2-1). <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Sorteberg and seconded by Councilmember Reimann to <br />adopt Resolution #81-107 in regards to the Ramsey Landfill. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg, <br />Reimann and Cox. Voting no None. <br /> <br />CASE #16: FINAL PAYMENT FOR VARIOLITE STREET PROJECT #81-1; <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Counciimember Van Wagner <br />to approve final payment for Variolite Street Project #81-1'in the amount <br />of $12,337.53. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg, <br />Reimann and Cox. Voting no None. <br /> <br />CASE #17: LICENSES FOR COUNCIL APPROVAL: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner to <br />approve all license applications as presented in enclosure (D2-n) of.the <br />Council agenda dated August 18, 1981. <br /> <br />C/August 18, Page <br /> <br /> <br />
