Sec. 117-228. - Enforcement. <br />The city shall be responsible for the administration and enforcement of this subdivision. Any violation <br />of the provisions of this subdivision or failure to comply with any of its requirements (including violations of <br />conditions and safeguards established in connection with grants of variances or conditional uses) shall <br />constitute a misdemeanor. Violations of this subdivision can occur regardless of whether or not a permit is <br />required for a regulated activity pursuant to section 117-223(a). <br />(Code 1978, § 9.25.08; Ord. No. 04-32, 5-30-2005) <br />Sec. 117-229. - Interpretation. <br />In their interpretation and application, the provisions of this subdivision shall be held to be minimum <br />requirements and shall be liberally construed in favor of the city council and shall not be deemed a limitation <br />or repeal of any other powers granted by state statutes. <br />(Code 1978, § 9.25.09; Ord.
