8. That the Home Occupation is primarily a food truck business but will involve onsite food <br />preparation for the food truck operation as well. <br />9. That there are two (2) trucks affiliated with the Home Occupation, a food truck and stock <br />truck, which will be stored in the detached accessory pole building in the rear of the Subject <br />Property when not in use. <br />10. That in addition to the detached pole building, there is also an attached, three (3) stall <br />garage and another detached, two (2) stall garage on the Subject Property. <br />11. That in 2005, the current owner of the Subject Property was granted a Conditional Use <br />Permit to exceed the allowable square footage for accessory buildings on the Subject <br />Property, which allowed for the construction of the detached pole building. <br />12. That a portion of the attached garage will be converted to a commercial grade kitchen, <br />including multiple sinks (mop sink, hand sink, food prep sink, and dish sinks), refrigerator, <br />freezer, dry storage shelves, a stove, food preparation counter with storage underneath, and <br />a smoker that will extend outside the rear wall of the attached garage. <br />13. That a Building Permit will be required for the interior improvements within the attached <br />garage. <br />14. That there will be at least 400 square feet of garage space reserved for indoor residential <br />parking and storage related to the residential use on the Subject Property. <br />15. That there will be exterior evidence of the existence of the Home Occupation on the Subject <br />Property including ventilation equipment affiliated with the smoker and short term parking <br />of the food trucks on the driveway while loading or unloading. <br />16. That the Applicant will install a Class V gravel driveway from the street to the detached <br />pole building for proper access and that a Zoning Permit will be required prior to <br />installation. <br />17. That there will be exterior modifications to the attached garage to accommodate the <br />required ventilation for the smoker but that said modifications will not alter the fire rating <br />of the structure on the Subject Property. <br />18. That the smoker would be used one (1) to two (2) times per month for two (2) to four (4) <br />hours of smoking per use. The smoker device would be employed for 14-18 hours per use <br />but only two (2) to four (4) hours would involve the use of smoke. For the remaining hours <br />of use, the smoker would function as a large oven and no smoke would be added. <br />19. That the Applicant has stated that the smoker would discharge less smoke than a typical <br />fireplace and the ventilation system would capture any ashes or cinders prior to discharge. <br />RESOLUTION #16-01-012 <br />Page 2 of 5 <br />
