Brookfield 6th Addition <br />The Brookfield 6th Addition consisted of eighteen (18) new single-family lots. Required infrastructure is substantially complete <br />and is eligible for issuance of Building Permits. Additional phases of Brookfield are anticipated over the next two (2) to three <br />(3) years. <br />Casey's General Store <br />Casey's General Store constructed a new 4,353 square -foot convenience store and gas station at 7222 Sunwood Dr NW. This <br />is Casey's second Ramsey location. The facility opened for business in January, 2016. <br />Connexus Energy Telecommunications Tower <br />Connexus Energy constructed a new telecommunications tower to handle their internal communication needs, including radios <br />and data transmission to infrastructure such as meters and sub -stations as part of a conversion to a `smart -grid' system. The <br />Planning Commission coordinated an ordinance amending City Code dealing with telecommunication tower standards. <br />Dedicated Networks Expansion <br />Dedicated Networks commenced construction of a 19,456 square foot industrial expansion of their existing facility located at <br />14000 Unity St NW. Construction is anticipated to be completed by spring, 2016. The Ramsey EDA helped facilitate this <br />project by reviewing a Business Subsidy Request. <br />Fire Station No. 2 <br />The City began constructing a new 12,000 square foot Fire Station at 5650 Alpine Drive NW to replace its existing station at <br />the former municipal center located at 15153 Nowthen Blvd NW. The new Fire Station No. 2 is anticipated to be fully <br />operational by March, 2016. <br />Life Fitness Expansion <br />Life Fitness commenced the construction of a 48,325 square foot industrial expansion to their existing facility located at 14150 <br />Sunfish Lake Blvd NW, simultaneous with the acquisition and demolition of the former HealthQuest fitness facility at 14100 <br />Sunfish Lake Blvd NW. Construction is expected to be completed by March, 2016. The Ramsey EDA helped facilitate this <br />project through the establishment of a Tax Increment Finance (TIF) District and TIF Agreement. An additional expansion is <br />anticipated in the near future. <br />Green Valley Green House Expansion <br />Green Valley Green House, a major employer in the City of Ramsey, completed a 101,376 square foot replacement of green <br />house for their planting operation. Additional expansions are anticipated in the future. <br />Harvest Estates <br />G S Land, LLC completed a first phase of Harvest Estates, a 44 -lot urban single-family subdivision located on the former <br />municipal center campus at 15153 Nowthen Blvd NW. Phase 2 is anticipated to commence within the next two (2) to three (3) <br />years. The project included the sale of City -owned property. <br />Parkview East <br />It is our mission to work together to responsibly grow our community, and to provide quality, cost-effective and efficient government services. <br />
