Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #16-04-067 <br />RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING POLLING LOCATION FOR WARD 4 PRECINCT 1 AT <br />RAMSEY FIRE STATION NO. 2, 5650 ALPINE DRIVE NW <br />WHEREAS, in 2012, following redistricting, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted <br />Resolution #12-03-041 re-establishing Wards, Precincts, and Polling Locations within the City; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey previously used Ramsey Fire Station No. 2, also known as Old <br />Municipal Center, located at 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, as a voting location for Ward 4, Precinct 1; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, a new building housing Fire Station No. 2 has been constructed and the old Fire <br />Station No. 2 will be demolished; and <br />WHEREAS, new Ramsey Fire Station No 2, located at 5650 Alpine Drive NW, is established as <br />the new polling location for Ward 4 Precinct 1. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, <br />ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1. The City Council of the City of Ramsey, in compliance with the terms and provisions of Minnesota <br />Statutes Section 204B.16, the polling location for Ward 4 Precinct 1 is hereby established at <br />Ramsey Fire Station No. 2, 5650 Alpine Drive NW, for 2016, and all future elections. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 12th <br />day of April, 2016. <br />ATTEST: <br />City Clerk <br />Mayor <br />RESOLUTION #16-04-067 <br />Page 1 of 1 <br />
