The hydrant at Traprock Street shall be placed 5 feet behind the edge of the existing <br />pavement and offset from the trail. A pedestrian ramp will be required at this location. <br />11. The invert information does not match the plans created by APA dated December 22, 2015. <br />Verify and update the information on these sheets and the storm sewer sheets. <br />Storm Sewer Construction Plans We offer the following comments: <br />1. Align plan view stationing with profile view stationing. <br />2. Move the CB labels to be adjacent to the structure in profile view. <br />3. Provide a detail for the concrete saddle. <br />4. The rip rap symbol must be darker on these sheets. <br />5. Revise note 3 by adding the following text (WIMCO), "or approved equal". <br />6. Add a storm manhole between CB 23 and CB 24 for cleaning purposes. <br />7. Add note to storm profiles denoting plan view page. <br />8. Hydraulic Grade calculations must be submitted for the storm sewer system. <br />A copy of the MPCA Construction Stormwater permit must be submitted to the City along with a <br />copy of the inspection records required by the SWPPP. <br />Street Construction Plans We offer the following comments: <br />1. Align plan view stationing with profile view stationing. <br />2. Ghost in all utilities in profile views. <br />3. Ghost in storm sewer in plan views. <br />4. Update note 6 to match note 3 on Storm Sewer Plans. <br />5. Add legend to sheet showing all symbols used on the sheet. <br />6. Notes at Sapphire Street are not legible. <br />7. Show subgrade excavation limits in cut areas. <br />8. Revise bituminous mix designs to reflect MNDOT 2360 mix designations. <br />Details — <br />1. The City Bituminous Trail detail must be added. <br />2. A custom detail for each pedestrian ramp must be added which shows spot elevations, <br />distances, slopes on surfaces as well as size and radius of truncated domes. <br />3. Add note to Detail STO-4 "Mark all manholes outside paved areas with green carsonite <br />marker." <br />4. Add Ditch Block Detail. <br />5. Remove 6" Cleanout Detail. <br />6. A detail with lengths, elevations and slopes is required for each pedestrian ramp. This is <br />in addition to the 5 MNDOT detail sheets included in the plans. <br />Redlined sheets are provided with this memo. <br />A project manual which includes the bid form, contract and specifications must be submitted for <br />the project. <br />
