Motion by Commissioner Mobry, seconded by Commissioner Barr, to recommend the City <br /> Council direct staff to develop a Cost Share Agreement with Anoka County Parks and <br /> Metropolitan Council and other funding entities for the regionally significant, Mississippi <br /> Skyway. <br /> Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chair Bennett, Commissioners Mobry, Barr, Chubb, Trappen and <br /> Troy. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Fyten. <br /> 6. COMMISSION/STAFF INPUT <br /> Mr. Riverblood provided an update on the skating rinks and stated typically at this time of the <br /> year the rinks are unskatable but because of the recent cold snap, the rinks have been reflooded <br /> and are in great condition for skating. <br /> Commissioner Mobry mentioned there have been a lot of skaters at Central Park. Commissioner <br /> Barr stated the residents are happy with the warming houses. <br /> Chair Bennett noted there is an opening on the Parks and Recreation Commission and any <br /> interested persons can contact City Hall. <br /> Mr. Riverblood stated a steering committee is being formed for the Comprehensive Plan Update <br /> and residents interested should contact City Hall. <br /> 7. ADJOURNMENT <br /> Motion by Commissioner Barr, seconded by Commissioner Troy, to adjourn the meeting. <br /> Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chair Bennett, Commissioners Barr Troy, Mobry, Chubb, and <br /> Trappen. Voting No: None.
