PUBLIC HEARING, SEPTEMBER 4, 1979, JACK MCCARTHY <br /> <br />Motion by Kathy Schneider and seconded by Ron West to approve the minutes <br />of the public hearing, September 4, 1979, as presented. <br /> <br />Motion carried. 5-0. <br /> <br />REGULAR PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION MEETING, SEPTEMBER 4, 1979 <br /> <br />Motion by Ben Deemer, seconded by Kathy Schneider with the following correction <br />on Page 5, 5th paragraph, should read, a discussion was held on the number of <br />accesses permissible on Highway 10 and the developer was told that he will <br />have to provide a letter from the Minnesota Department of Transportation <br />as to whether or not they will allow that number of accesses. <br /> <br />Motion carried. 5-0. <br /> <br />AUGUST 21, 1979, WORK SESSION MEETING ON COMPREHENSIVE PLAN <br /> <br />Motion by Kathy Schneider and seconded by Gerald Zimmerman to approve the <br />minutes as received with the following corrections: Page 3, 2nd paragraph <br />from the bottom of the page, the comment from Kathy Schneider should reflect <br />that she is definitely opposed to "clear cutting". <br /> <br />Page 2: The importance for wetlands is: 1. Waterfowl <br /> <br />Motion carried. 5-0. <br /> <br />NOTE BOARDS AND COUNCIL <br /> <br />The Boards and Council meeting minutes were acknowledged as received. <br /> <br />LETTERS & COMMUNICATIONS <br /> <br />None presented. <br /> <br />PLANNING COMMISSION BUSINESS <br /> <br />PRELIMINARY PLAT APPROVAL - ROLAND LOOYEN <br /> <br />Mr. Looyen was present. <br />The Commission informed Mr. Looyen that he would be required to pay a parkland <br />dedication in cash. <br /> <br />Administrator Schnelle noted the contract that Mr. Looyen entered with <br />the City and informed him that he would have to improve the road to City <br />standards before he could obtain a building permit. <br /> <br />Mr. Looyen said the reason he came back into the City this second time was <br />so that he would not have to put in the road. That is why he is asking for <br />just one additional lot.
