CRAIG KINDERMAN - ACCES~ PROBLEM Mr. Kinderman explained his position to the Commissioners. Discussion held. He could sell off at least a 200 foot wide strip from 181st back to the landlocked parcel or ask for a variance for an easement. Mr. Kindermanwas advised to confer with City Attorney William Goodrich for legal advice as to how to solve this problem. MINING ORDINANCE Motion by Kathleen Schneider, seconded by Ben Deemer to table any action on this ordinance until the October 1, 1979 meeting. Motion carried. 7-0. CITIZEN'S INPUT Mr. Don Taylor representing a towing service operating out of Ken's Auto Repair on St. Francis Boulevard and 153rd Avenue was present to discuss with the P & Z Commission, the possibility of conducting a towing service in conjunction with the City Police Department. He would go by the same rules as Coon Rapids Police. He just uses Mr. Niles land and has no interest in the land or present business. Administrator Schnelle suggested that this issue be discussed with the City Attorney. Art Dunn expressed concern that there is a possibilitY that with this kind of operation the property could end up looking like Max's. Chairman Peterson asked if he would be dealing with St. Francis, Burns, etc. Mr. Taylor replied that he thinks the impotmd lot should be located in the City for the people of that City only. Mr. West stated that this is a perfect time for them to relocate their entire business in the Industrial zoned area so that they could be a conforming use operation as they are not a conforming use to the area they are in at present. Motion by Ben Deemer, seconded by Kathleen Schneider to table this case until there is further information, input from the City Attorney and more information on City procedures regarding this matter.
