City of #k <br />RAMSEY <br />Subj: Arbor Day 2016 — You're Invited! <br />Dear Resident, <br />7550 Sunwood Drive NW • Ramsey, MN 55303 <br />City Hall: 763.427.1410 • Fax: 763.427.5543 <br />www.cityoframsey.com <br />On behalf of the Park and Recreation Commission and Environmental Policy Board, I am <br />pleased to inform you of a multi -faceted project, supported by the Public Works Committee <br />that will benefit your neighborhood in the vicinity of Trott Brook. <br />As part of the platting of Brookfield 4th Addition (shown in pale lavender in the exhibit below), <br />the City received title to a small, narrow parcel that connects to the Trott Brook Trail. This will <br />allow for the construction of a trail link from the neighborhood street (170th Trail NW) to the <br />existing bituminous trail that runs parallel to the brook. This 'mid -block' trail would provide <br />another, more convenient, access point to the existing 9/10's of a mile trail for much of the <br />Brookfield neighborhood. <br />It is our mission to work together to responsibly grow our community, and to provide quality, cost-effective and efficient government services. <br />
