P&Z -2- <br />2/~,~/79 <br /> <br />In regards to #11 concer~ng the Anoka Wastewater Treatnmnt Plant, after lenghty <br />discussion, Dexter stated that this could be left in for now, and rediscussed <br />at the time of Public Hearings. Pete Raatikka stated that they are in the <br />process of doing a study ~for the Metro Waste Conm. to determine possible ex- <br />pansion or relocation upstream. Art Dunn stated that he was in favor of <br />leaving the policy in if it would effect sewer for Ram ey. John Lichter stated <br />that upgrading would probably be ~heaper for Ramsey than removal of the facility, <br />Dexter stated the main difference between this plant and the one South of the <br />Cities was that the area inmediately below had different use (Coon Rapids Dam <br />Recreational Area). Co~'ssion members stated that they would like the Council's <br />input in regards' to this policy, <br /> <br />Final discussion included~ a connmnt from Art Dunn that items #4,5,9,10, &ll <br />could in his opinion be struck from the final draft and Dexter Marston <br />explained that a certain amount of editing will be done on the final draft, <br />and also that copies of model ordinances would be coming reflecting ira--. <br />plen~nation. Dexter also c~ted that he" had reCeived complaints from <br />people that they had not been notified of nmetings, It was determined that <br />the nmetings have been in the Union, and that mailed notices would go out <br />for the Public Hearings. <br /> <br />Gateway North Plat II <br />peter Raatikka reported that the drainage problem was still being worked out, <br />and Lloyd stated that the:Board of Adjustment would be handling the 10t size <br />question. Also, Lloyd explained' that the Council will be requesting input <br />from the Corm~ission in regards-to the entire Industrial area, Ken Peterson <br />asked Mr, Greenberg what Ne felt about 2,~5 acre Sites, Mr, GreenSerg stated <br />that if the 2.5 acre sitelwould provide its own drainage versus a holding <br />pond for the plat of 1 acre lots, he would be in favor of it. This will <br />be on the agenda for rfhe March 5th meeting~ <br /> <br />Liesurevale Estates - (Formerly Pondvale Estates) <br />After reviewing the Engineer's Report, it was the consensus of the Conmission <br />that they proceed with the Preliminary noting the reconn~ndations of <br />the Engineer in the letter of 2/19/79, and that they Obtain a letter from <br />the Hwy Dept in regards to t_ha accesses, Also, the Conmission would like <br />an Attorney"s opinion in regards to the restrictive covenants on the plat, <br /> <br />Tierra Estates - Sketch Plan. <br />After reviewing the Engineer's Report, it was the consensus of the Conmission <br />that they proceed with the Preliminary noting the recorm~ndations of <br />the Engineer in the lette~ of 2/19/79, and that they obtain a letter from <br />the hS~y. Dept. regarding the access onto #83 and speed limit . .~.>~'~:.~ , . <br /> <br />Sorteberg Plat <br />Pete Raatikka stated that iin talking to Mr. Ruud, the Hwy. Dept. would like <br />the right-of-way to be cor~sistent on #83, and Mr. Sorteberg will have to <br />change the easements to 75' from 60' for #83. <br /> <br />Motion by Brad Bodle, seconded by Art Dunn to adjourn.
