North property line, and payment of park dedication <br />fee. Motion carried 6-0. <br /> <br />Mr. Mastley was advised that the final decision would be made by Council <br />an~ should not go ahead and purchase the property befor&-'- he has Council <br />decision. <br /> <br />Item 4. Rezoning reques~ - Dr. T.W. Anderson <br />Dr. Ton Anderson and Dr. ~Ro.ger Austin were present with a request for .~ . <br />rezoning of 5 acres located on the Northwest corner of 167th Z~d~ #~7 ~ ~ '-~ <br />from R-1 to light commercial to allow the building of a dentaI 'officejii-!!' <br /> <br />Dr. Anderson explained that they had already talked with the <br />and they posed no objections, and they had received favorable comm~en~'s <br />from the neighbors in the area. 'It was stated that Dr. Anderson an~.~[[;~.i~ .. <br />Dr. Austin have operated a .dental clin~ic in. Coon, Rapids with-~a.sep.~i~,~.!~.~i! <br />system for l0 years without any problems. As the sketch presented.~f0r <br />review left a 2.5 acre parcel, undeveloped, Ken Peterson explained, that <br />he wasn't opposed to the Conce.~t of t~e dental office, but would like to <br />see a plan for the entire acreage.. Dr. Anderson said that they did not want <br />to invest any more than necessary unless there is rezoning.. There was <br />discussion of ~'ow the 2.5. acre parcel on #47 could be zoned so as to <br />prevent undesire,~ble development~at a future date. It was explained that <br />2~B~.;',~ou~d like to have the entire parcel rezoned from R-l-so as not to. <br />close the door on the future. <br /> <br />The possiblity of restrictive covenants was discussed and a Pu'blic Hela, fing ' <br />will be held on August 21. Soil borings and elevations were reques2ed for <br />the P.M. <br /> <br />Item 5. Acceotance of Magnesium as City Street. <br />This street is located south of Industrial Blvd, ~nd. west of the Ramsey <br />Terrance Plat. The property owners are prepared to dedicate all the <br />necessary road right-of-ways, and has indicated they would be willing <br /> <br /> <br />
