The Ramsey City <br />Ramsey Municipal <br />Members Present: <br />Members Absent: <br />Also Present: <br />1. <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, April 26, 2016, at the <br />Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br />Mayor Sarah Strommen <br />Councilmember Mark Kuzma <br />Councilmember John LeTourneau <br />Councilmember Chris Riley <br />Councilmember Melody Shryock <br />Councilmember Kristine Williams <br />Councilmember Johns <br />City Administrator Kurtis Ulrich <br />Fire Chief Matt Kohner <br />Police Chief Jeff Katers <br />Community Development Director Timothy Gladhill <br />City Engineer Bruce Westby <br />Asst. City Administrator/Economic Development Manager Patrick Brama <br />City Attorney Joe Langel <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Mayor Strommen called the regular meeting of the Ramsey City Council to order at 7:00 p.m., <br />followed by the Pledge of Allegiance led by Mayor Strommen. <br />2. PRESENTATION <br />2.01: Proclamation Declaring May as Building Safety Month <br />Mayor Strommen presented the Proclamation. <br />Community Development Director Gladhill noted the reason for building codes is for safety and <br />for health. He thanked the staff for the good work the team does. He stated there is an ongoing <br />survey on the City's website for homeowners and contractors to take which will help Staff know <br />how to provide adequate resources in a timely manner. He said the first component of e-permits <br />will begin in June as a way for residents to request permits 24 hours a day. <br />3.
