Armstrong Interchange Grand Opening Event. The Anoka County Board of Commissioners, in partnership with the City of Ramsey, will celebrate the kick-start of the Greater Minnesota Gateway Projects and the completion of the new Armstrong Blvd. Interchange over U.S. Highway 10/169 and the BNSF Railroad tracks in the city of Ramsey, Friday May 20, 2016. Reception at 11:00 am with program beginning at 11:30 am. Kayak Lessons Offered at Sunfish Lake. The City of Ramsey in partnership with Wahoo! Adventures welcome you to get outdoors, learn something new, and experience your parks! Kick off summer with a paddle around Sunfish Lake in the Learn to Kayak Class, held on Saturday, June 4 at 8:30 am and 10:30 am. In this hour and a half class you will learn how to paddle correctly, get in and out of a kayak easily and safely, and how to pack for a day on the water. You will also get an overview of the City of Ramsey's canoe/kayak rental system, available for free to residents.
