In the past ten years, <br />nearly 1,600 crashes have occurred on this stretch of roadway, including ten fatalities. <br />In honor of this critical public safety project, special guests include Lieutenant Governor <br />Tina Smith, U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar, U.S. Representative Tom Emmer, MN Speaker of the <br />House Kurt Daudt, MnDOT Commissioner Charlie Zelle, and Counties Transit Improvement <br />Board Chair and Hennepin County Commissioner Peter McLaughlin. Anoka County Board Vice <br />Chair Matt Look will serve as emcee.
