P&Z -2- <br /> <br />Art Dunn suggested that the sketch olan be submitted to both the City Planne~ <br />and the E.Q.C. Phil Neres0n explained that he was no~ ~in favor of submittint <br />the sketch plan to the E.Q.C. at this time. Mr. Nereson felt it would be <br />better to work with the City Planners and thus helP eliminate duplication <br />on Public Hearings. A1Sorteberg felt it was a good idea for the planners <br />to be able to use the sketch plan as a guide. Mr. Nereson stated that <br />he would contact the E.Q.C. regarding their zoning regulations and bring <br />this information back to the Commission and Mr. Anderson. Motion by Ken <br />Peterson, seconded by Art Dunn to table the Faye Construction Sketch Plan <br />pending additional information from the E.Q.C. regarding zoning <br />regulations. 5 - 0 <br /> <br />Item 2. Bart~cl Homes Prel~imina. ry Plan <br /> <br /> Present were Kenny Barthel, Rick Foster, .and Harold Barstow. <br /> the engineer's report was reviewed by Mr. Raatikka. Art Dunn <br />stated that in addition to the report that he saw potential problems <br />with certain lots due to the high water table and clay soil and also <br />recommended to the developer to consider scenic easements for the <br />lots on the Rum River. Mr iRaatikka explained that they would be <br />receivi, ngthe soils report sometime this week, Mr. Nereson stated that this <br />matter would probably go to Public Hearing December 5, 1977. <br /> <br />Item 3. Arnold Bettin~er <br /> <br />Phil Nereson explained thatI Mr. Bettinger came into the office to <br />request rezoning of some property located along Highway ~47 for the <br />purpose of constructing a gas station. Mr. Nereson stated that providing <br />Mr. Bettinger brings in the necessary information, there will be a public <br />hearing scheduled for December 5, 1977. <br /> <br />Item 4. <br /> <br />Mr. Nereson presented a map from the Highway Department regarding <br />proposed improvements in the turning lane on Highway #10. According to the <br />map it is the intentions of'the Highway Department to eliminate one turn- <br />around located at the junction of Coquina Street and Highway #10.
