A1 Sorteberg asked Mrs. Kappelhoff if she <br />understood that they WoUld be~responsible for a half-mile driveway. <br />A1 Sorteberg explained that the Commission was advisory and that they <br />could take their request directly to the City Council, but .that the <br />Council had already been presented with a similar request and found <br />it unacceptable. A1 Sorteberg stated that there wasn't a formal <br />variance request and Mrs. Triggs explained that Mr. & Mrs. Kappelhoff <br />wanted to know if they could get a building permit. Motion by <br />Ron West, seconded by Jerry Zimmerman to deny the request by Mr. <br />Sanderson and Mrs. Kappelhoff for a building oermit on a piece of <br />land that does not have frontage on a public road. 6 - 0 <br /> <br />Item 6. Robert F. Hoffman, variance request. <br /> <br />Mr. Robert Hoffman was ,present with a request for a variance to sell <br />a piece of land 250' X~250' located in the lower half of Section 26. <br />Mr. Clayton Berg explained that when he had looked at this request <br />earlier, he had seen the possibility of obtaining an easement along the <br />West 40 line for a future road. Motion by Ron West, seconded by <br />Jerry Zimmerman to recommend to the City Council to grant a variance <br />request to Robert Hoffman to sell a parcel of land 250' X 250' by <br />metes & bounds description located in the lower half of Section 26 <br />subject to the following: 200 feet of frontage on Industry Boulevard, <br />with 33' future road easement on the West 40 line and payment of <br />Park fee. 6 - 0 <br /> <br />Motion by Kathy Schneider,. seconded by Art Dunn to recommend to the <br />City Council to grant a variance for a building permit to John Gertz <br />sub.~ect to approval oflthe subdivision by metes and bounds of the Robert <br />Hoffman property. 6 - 0 <br /> <br />Motion by Art Dunn seconded by Ken Peterson to adjourn. <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned 10:'45 p.m. <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br />Kathy Schneider <br />Secretary <br /> <br /> <br />
