P&Z -4~ 10/3/77 Mrs. Kappelhoff. A1 Sorteberg asked Mrs. Kappelhoff if she understood that they WoUld be~responsible for a half-mile driveway. A1 Sorteberg explained that the Commission was advisory and that they could take their request directly to the City Council, but .that the Council had already been presented with a similar request and found it unacceptable. A1 Sorteberg stated that there wasn't a formal variance request and Mrs. Triggs explained that Mr. & Mrs. Kappelhoff wanted to know if they could get a building permit. Motion by Ron West, seconded by Jerry Zimmerman to deny the request by Mr. Sanderson and Mrs. Kappelhoff for a building oermit on a piece of land that does not have frontage on a public road. 6 - 0 Item 6. Robert F. Hoffman, variance request. Mr. Robert Hoffman was ,present with a request for a variance to sell a piece of land 250' X~250' located in the lower half of Section 26. Mr. Clayton Berg explained that when he had looked at this request earlier, he had seen the possibility of obtaining an easement along the West 40 line for a future road. Motion by Ron West, seconded by Jerry Zimmerman to recommend to the City Council to grant a variance request to Robert Hoffman to sell a parcel of land 250' X 250' by metes & bounds description located in the lower half of Section 26 subject to the following: 200 feet of frontage on Industry Boulevard, with 33' future road easement on the West 40 line and payment of Park fee. 6 - 0 Motion by Kathy Schneider,. seconded by Art Dunn to recommend to the City Council to grant a variance for a building permit to John Gertz sub.~ect to approval oflthe subdivision by metes and bounds of the Robert Hoffman property. 6 - 0 Motion by Art Dunn seconded by Ken Peterson to adjourn.
