REGULAR MEETIMG OF HAM.~Ef TOWNSHZP PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION August 5, 197& The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by the Chairman, Mr. Sortebergo Present wer~ Mr. Pittman, Mr. Emmans, Mr. Bodle and Mrs. Guy. First item t~ be discussed was the proposed horse ordinance. The Changes were made on th~: copy to be given to the Town Board. The Second item of discussi~n was the proposed park land in the Carter Valley pla~. The consezsus of opinion was that we want the road closed from the east edge of Helium St. N.W. at 170th Lane N.W. to the north edge of th~ park land. and that we need lots ~, 5, 6,~/~ and 7 to go with the pa~.k ~e have and to help compensate for the ~ road that is being 'taken out of the park land on top of the hill which makes %his park land practically useless. Also this will mean that ~o~ 8 can com~; out on 172nd Ave. N.W. The balance of the park land can be no~th of Trott Brook on the east end of this land with a walkway and parking area on top of the hill. We would want this parking area ~ravelled for parking and a nice looking foot bridge going acros~ Trott Brook to give a~ess to the land on the north side of the B¢ook. The minutes of the last stated meeting were read. Mr. Bodle moved the minutes be accepted a::; read. Seconded by Mr. Pittman. Motion carried. Mr. Tom Peterson~ 15010 W;-~.co St. N.W. was not present. Gilson Enl',erprises~ Sketch Plan. The road going in~o this plat is a quarter of a mile. Mr. Ralph Williams, Mr. Jack Ranallo, Mro Richard Ranallo, M~. !~obert Gilson, owner, and Mr. LeRoy Win- ner, surveyor were present. They' were told 600 feet is the maxi- mum for a dead end road~. They want to give money for parks. Mr. Gary Reimann was preser¢t and stated he felt this plat was a bad deal and would cause u~ trouble. Mr. Emmans moved we table this plat until we can get ~- legal opinion on this dead end road as to what constitutes a cul de sac and the cost of maintenance on such a roa¢t~ Seconded by Mr~ Bodle. Motion carried. They asked to be put on the agend~, for September 3, 197&. Clifton Morse: 16519 ,~aspar St. N.W. He has the first place south of the °'~ . . ,.~mzti:~ property He wants to put up a hobby ~ su~rage for boat, camper, etc. He has five workshop de needs ~ acres and is buying fi~e more acres. His present area is 330 by 1320 feet. He has the names of three of his neighbors who do not object. Richard Dehn i~.ves next to him and he was told he should get his signature. He would be building 20 feet from the Dehn property. He will als~ get Mrs. Smith's signature. She was gone before when he had trisd to contact her about this. He would also have to s~ign a paper s~ying no product would be made in this build- ing to be sold and no uno but the immediate family will be using this building. He wil~ be placed on the agenda for the next Plan- ning and Zoning meeting.s.
