The maximum
allowed on dead end st~'eets is 600 feet. Prolonged discussion on
this sketch plan.

8:56

9:06

Mr. Ed. Klemish: He w~nts to rezone from residential to.commercial
in Block 6, lot i and ~; Block § lots 3 and 4; Block ~,' lots 2 and
3. The Commission wou~d like to have the driveway to the store be-
ing built there moved farther west. Mr. Chapman moved that if this
area fits in with the ¢~verall plan, that this area be rezoned from
residential to commercial. Seconded by Mr. Emmans. Motion carried.

Carter's Valley: Preliminary. Commission wants road to go west
from Germanium Street between lots 26 and 27. We want to tie the
two pieces of the park together. We want lot No. 24 for the park.
The Carters want to give us the holding pond for the park. The
Engineer stated that when houses are built and people fertilize
their lawns and gardens that the drainage will carry fertilizer to
this holding pond and coat it so the water will not drain down but
will be sta~ding in this holding pond and that this is no place for
a park fo~ children to play. The Commission also indicated they
would like to have 100 feet on both sides of Trott Brook for recre-
ational trails. Mr. Nielsen, their attorney, said he could.stop
snowmobiles from going on Trott Brook. The Carters said they might
give 15 feet wide for a walkway but there could be nothing but walk-
ing, no bicycles, motorized bikes, snowmobiles, etc. They might
consider giving a 15 foot wide entrance from the cul de sac to the
south side of Trott Brook~ There was much repetitions discussion.
Finally Mr. Reimann suggested the Carters, their attorney and their
surveyors retire to have a conference among themselves and decide
what they were willing ~o do.

lO:ll

A. & R. Development: ?~ant a variance on Sunfish Lake Blvd. in
the industrial area. T~ey have a piece of land on ~he west side
that is 151.86 feet. Tae requirement is 200 feet. They want a
variance for a water softener business, warehouse and sales office,
Water King. The l~d o~ the north and the south of this piece is
already occupied so ~he?e is no way of making it wider. Mr. Bodle
recommended this varian~e be granted. Seconded by Mr. Emmans. The
motion carried.

10:16 Mr. Hall: Prelimina~7 on Wild River Estates Plat: Discussion on
this plat. The engineer had stated that the severe slopes combined
with the predominant so~%l type are subject to severe erosion. The
surveyor stated tha~ this should not cause concern because the 100
feet closest to the riw~r is included in the scenic easement dedi-
cated to the County whitish stated that foliage is not to be removed
from these slopes and s~ should not cause erosion problem. Sub-
urban road section will be used which will minimize erosion prob-
lems. Mr~ Hall agreed ~;o paragraph four. The surveyor and Mr.
