When the <br />property to the south 2s developed, this outlot would then be used <br />for road purposes. Th~ park between lots 9 and l0 in Block 2will <br />be eliminated. That lt~w area v~ll become parts of Lots 9 and lO. <br />The result of this is ~;hat the southerly lines of lots 9, 8 and 7 <br />can be moved northerly~ They agreed to eliminate the cul-de-sac <br />shown as l&4th Ave~ r~design the area encompassed by lots l, 2, 3 <br />and parts of lots 4 an~ 5 into probably three or four lots. The <br />swampy cattail area coHprising the rest of lots &, 5 and almost <br />all of lot 6 and part of lot 7 will then be filled to at least two <br />feet above %he existin~ water level and will be dedicated to the <br />Township as a park~ A~ part of the park requirement, Mr. Hall will <br />deed to the Township via q~it claim deed, whatever interest he may <br />have in any islands between the main bank of the Rum River and the <br />center of the main cha~nel of the river. The balance of Mr. Hall's <br />park requirements will be taken care of via the cash method. Mr. <br />Chapman moved we reconm~end this preliminary pla~ be accepted based <br />on the changes agreed upon. These changes will be in the form of <br />a letter from the surveyor to Mr. Reimann as to his understanding <br />of same. Seconded by' ~r~ Bodleo Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Tom G~nec: Wants ~ 20x20 horse shelter. He has the signatures <br />of the surrounding properby owners agreeing to this horse shelter. <br />He has 3.9 acres. Mr. Bodle moved we recommend to the Town Board <br />that Mr. Gamec be granted a variance to build this horse shelter. <br />Seconded by Mr. Dmmans~ ~4otion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Gilbert Menkveld: ~e wants a variance for two lots in Country- <br />side Park~ Discussion on this matter. Mr. Emmans moved we recom- <br />mend Mr. Menkveld be granted a variance for two lots of I acre <br />each with 200 foot frontage on 16&th Lane with the houses to front <br />on 16~th f,aue. Seconded by Mr. Bodle. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Gilbert Menkveld: ~o has 160 acres north of Shawn Acres. His <br />agent came in prior to ~he meeting stating they wanted to use this <br />land to sell wholesale ~ursery stock and grow it right there. This <br />is low land. He said t~e man who is going to run this nursery should <br />come in himself. <br /> <br />Mr. Lel~d Stull: He h.~s a sketch plan for 16 acres he wants to <br />buy from I~m. Walton to ~u:i. ld two houses and plat a few more lots. <br />He wants to build on 2½~ which means subdividing, ~nich he does <br />not want to do. After ~ome discussion, he decided he would not <br />buy the land. <br /> <br />Mr. Emmans moved we woutd like some action taken on the horse ordi- <br />nance on which the Comm~ssion held a public hearing. Seconded by <br />Mr. Bodle~ ~otion card, cdc Discussion on this matter.
