Commissioner Andrusko questioned if the proposed location of the stormwater pond was wise <br />given the speed with which traffic would be handling the curve along Andre Drive. He feared a <br />car could slip into the stormwater pond. He asked if the City would be installing a guard rail. <br /> <br />Community Development Director Gladhill commented a sight distance exhibit would be drafted. <br />He understood the pond would be a dry pond and would only have standing water after large rain <br />events. He reported staff has not suggested the need for guard rails. <br /> <br />Commissioner Andrusko inquired how deep the pond would be. <br /> <br />Community Development Director Gladhill estimated the pond would be four to six feet deep. <br /> <br />Commissioner Bauer supported the developer making a determination on the pond location with <br />the future buyer of this lot. <br /> <br />Chairperson Levine agreed. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Levine, Commissioners Brauer, Nosan, Andrusko, <br />Bauer, Maul, and VanScoy. Voting No: None. Absent: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Bauer, seconded by Commissioner Brauer, to recommend that City <br />Council adopt recommend that the City Council approve the Preliminary Plat for Northfork <br />Alpine Addition, subject to the conditions in the staff report, and direct the applicant to prepare a <br />Final Plat consistent with the submitted Preliminary Plat and contingent upon review and approval <br />of the civil engineering plans by the City Engineer. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Absent: None. <br /> <br />5.02: Receive Presentation of City of Ramsey 2015 to 2018 Strategic Action Plan <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br /> <br />City Administrator Ulrich presented the City of Ramsey 2015 to 2018 Strategic Action Plan to the <br />Planning Commission. He reviewed the City’s mission and core values. The four main goals of <br />the City Council were to achieve financial stability, create a connected community, to have smart, <br />citizen focused government and to have an effective organization.
