Add continuation note "See Sheet XX" where plan view is continued on another page. 6. Remove note regarding 1st addition services. 7. Services shall end 10 feet beyond the edge of sidewalk. Services on the non -sidewalk side shall end at the property line. 8. Add "Remove Plug" to Connect to Existing 8" Watermain. 9. Move the label for EXMH 5 to be readable in plan view. 10. Add insulation between water services and storm sewer for lots 11-14. 11. Callout 8" gate valve at intersection of Sapphire Street and 160th Ave with stationing. Storm Sewer Construction Plans We offer the following comments: 1. Align plan view stationing with profile view stationing. 2. Move the CB labels to be adjacent to the structure in profile view. 3. Remove construction details and notes related to pond outlet structures. The structures can be shown as screened for informational purposes with structure description. 4. The rip rap symbol must be darker on these sheets where it is part of this contract. 5. Add note to storm profiles denoting plan view page. 6. Add street names and continuation notes to plan view. 7. Hydraulic Grade calculations must be submitted for the storm sewer system. A copy of the MPCA Construction Stormwater permit must be submitted to the City along with a copy of the inspection records required by the SWPPP. Street Construction Plans We offer the following comments: 1. Align plan view stationing with profile view stationing. 2. Add legend to sheet showing all symbols used on the sheet. 3. Ghost in all utilities in profile views. 4. Ghost in all utilities in plan views. 5. Revise bituminous mix designs to reflect MNDOT 2360 mix designations. 6. Truncated domes must be radial at curb. 7. Continuation notes need to be revised to point to the correct page. Details — 1. Add note to Detail STO-4 "Mark all manholes outside paved areas with green carsonite marker." 2. Add Ditch Block Detail. 3. Remove 6" Cleanout Detail. 4. A detail with lengths, elevations and slopes is required for each pedestrian ramp. This is in addition to the 5 MNDOT detail sheets included in the plans.
