Councilmember Shryock commented that it is neat to see a builder and developer that are interested in problem solving and working with what is there to find a product that fits. She stated that if this moves forward she would be interested to see what is developed. Councilmember Williams stated that the EDA is in favor of this as they recognize the challenges of the site and this developer and builder seem to be willing to take on that challenge. Motion by Councilmember Kuzma, seconded by Councilmember Shryock, to approve the Purchase Agreement with Lifestyle Construction Services LLC, subject to the review and approval of the City Attorney. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Strommen, Councilmembers Kuzma, Shryock, Johns, Riley, and Williams. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember LeTourneau. 8. MAYOR, COUNCIL AND STAFF INPUT City Administrator Ulrich announced upcoming meetings and events. City Planner Anderson reported that the recycling event this last weekend was a great successful and provided a brief update. Councilmembers Riley and Kuzma congratulated Community Development Director Gladhill for the recent birth of his child. Mayor Strommen stated that she recently attended the Minnesota Mayors Conference and provided a brief update, noting that the most valuable asset was the ability to chat with mayors from other communities to gain their input. She stated that road repair and reconstruction is a big issue for many of the communities, noting the high assessment costs that some cities have in the range of $30,000. 9. ADJOURNMENT Motion by Councilmember Kuzma, seconded by Councilmember Johns, to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried.
