EXPECTATIONS OF CLIENT BEHAVIOR <br />Treatment participation requires appropriate behavior. This behavior is essential for a <br />successful treatment experience. Failure to meet these expectations can result in treatment <br />termination. <br />Critical Concerns: Failure to adhere to any of these expectations will result in staff determination of <br />the appropriateness of discharge <br />Abstain from all drug and alcohol use and possession or another person's medication for <br />the entire treatment program, while on caanpus and off campus on pass. (If I am unable to <br />make this commitment, I will discuss other treatment options with the program staff.) <br />Any attempt to sell drugs or encourage drug use by other clients will result in discharge. <br />If you have knowledge of any use of mood altering chemicals or purchase of (including <br />request to purchase) such chemicals by another client, you are to report information to <br />staff. Failure to report compromises the safety and treatment of others and may result in <br />discharge <br />Honesty is essential: lying or deceitfulness is grounds for discharge <br />No fraternization (private conversation or physical contact). No contacting, exchanging <br />numbers or notes with opposite sex clients, No romantic or sexual involvement with other <br />clients. <br />Remain law abiding: Any illegal behavior, including damage to any Riverplace property <br />will be reported to the Anoka Police or County Shen-iff and will result in termination. <br />Weapons are not allowed on Riverplace property and the use of an object as a weapon <br />will result in termination <br />Aggressive behavior, threats or harassment toward another person will result in <br />termination. <br />Important Concerns: failure to adhere to any of these expectations will result in consequences <br />assessed by your counselor. A pattern of failure to adhere to these expectations will result in staff <br />determination of the appropriateness of discharge <br />Treat ALL others with dignity and RESPECT. <br />Arrive on time and participate in all individual appointments and groups (including 12- <br />step meetings). Side talking, eating, or tobacco use is not allowed in groups <br />Comply with all treatment plans and complete assignments by due date. <br />Dress appropriately: Men must wear a shirt at all times and Women are not to wear any <br />spaghetti strap tank tops or other revealing clothing. <br />All medications brought to treatment will be inventoried by staff. Clients may self- <br />administer approved medications. <br />Energy drinks or energy supplements (yellow jackets, or energy tabs) are prohibited. <br />Keep you rooms clean (clothes put away, bed made before community meeting, bathroom <br />cleaned) and complete assigned chores.
