JAKE BART~OLD <br /> Anne Norris, Cx~'m]unJty Develol~nent Director <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />As you recall, Mr. Jake Barth~l~] was at your January 27, 1987 meeting <br />requesting a minor ~ubdivision o~ h'~.s five acre parcel located on the west side <br />of State Highway ~4'/o Mr. P~rth~ld is proposing to split the parcel vertically <br />into two 2-1/2 acre lots; the we:~t Jot would not have street access as required <br />by City Code~ The ~kouncil reccm~ended that Mr. Barthold proceed with minor <br />subdivision of this parcel with ~he provision of a 66 foot easement running <br />along the lenghh of the pro}Tm~rty and that a road with a temporary cul-de-sac <br />for access to the wast parcel be ~nstructed within three years. <br /> <br />Mr. Barthold is re~]~esting ~econ~',id~ration of the Council's recommendation of a <br />subdivision with a ~artially con~tructed street. This <br />subdivision also created one p~rcel without street frontage/access. From <br />records available, it appears th;-~t the Guelker's request involved one parcel of <br />land containing two separate res.~dential structures (both structures were built <br />prior to 1970) o In 1.984 the P.l~m. ing and Zoning Commission and City Council <br />reviewed Mr. Gue!ker's requet-~t f~r a metes and bounds subdivision.
