Ch~~. location of the proposed street im- <br />proveme~}t and area of b~nefit are shown on Exhibit A. <br /> <br />PROJECT HI ~TORY <br /> <br />This project was prev i.ou, sly studied by Hakanson Anderson Asso- <br />ciates~ Inc~ in Octob~y' 1982. That study was completed based on <br />the decisJ.~t~n not to s}~end }4unicipal State Aid Street (MSAS) <br />funds on the project. At 'the time the City decided there was <br />only a remote possibil~..i.ty that t67th Avenue would be extended to <br />Variolite :~treet. Pl~ms~ were prepared and bids were received to <br />construct 'i;.he street ~:.s a residential street. Due to difficul- <br />ties negot:[ating ease]'-,er~ts and objections to assessments, the <br />project wa~-: abandoned, <br /> <br /> <br />
