10 l~h~utes ~ <br /> <br />Dave Bartley, City <br /> <br />Background~ <br /> <br />At the time the City Council reviewed the idea of establishing storm sewer <br />taxing districts there was a Lot of discussion about what would be paid for by <br />revenues generated through the t~x' district and what would not be paid for. <br />It was suggest~t that a policy sho~n~ be established outlining the use of storm <br />sewer taxing funds. <br /> <br />It was generally understood t~at a storm sewer taxing district would pay for <br />virtually all costs related to the develolm~nt of storm sewers in the City of <br />Bamsey with the exception of the (Dst of storm ~ers brought about by virtue <br />of a developer's desire to improve land for resale. <br /> <br />Enclosed for your discussion is a proposed resolution that I have drafted to <br />facilitate the develou~.nt of such a policy. <br /> <br />Council action will be t~) dis:~.s this issue. <br /> <br />Chief of Police <br />Finance Officer <br />Public Works Superintendent <br />Other <br /> <br /> <br />
