introduced the following resolution and moved for its <br /> <br /> 1) That the (iitie:4 of Ramsey and Medina have m~de applicatio~ to the <br />Metropolitan Council of the '.~in Cities Area for a Planning Assistance Grant to <br />study the impacts of landfills on host cammm/ties. <br /> <br /> 2) That the Metropolitan Council of the Twin Cities Area has <br />apprc~ed the application made by the Cities of Pamsey and Medina for said <br />Planning Assistance Grant. <br /> <br /> 3) That the ~ayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and <br />directed on behalf of the C/ty to execute and enter into an agreenent with the <br />Metropolitan (?~uncil of the Twin Cities Area prescribing the terms and <br />conditions of a Plannirg Assistance Grant to develop and deliver information <br />and education about landfill abat~nent issues and solutions, a copy of which <br />sa/d agreement was before the Council assuning on behalf of the City all cf the <br />~ligations therein oontained. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption ~f the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember and ~pon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in <br />favor there(M: <br /> <br />and the foll~Jng voted a§ai~t the same: <br /> <br />and the foll~ing absta]]~d: <br /> <br />and the following were abse~a~: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution wa~; declared duly passed and adopted this the 24th <br />day of March~ 1987. <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />City Administrator <br /> <br /> <br />
