Councilm~mbe r <br />moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />~i.ntroduced the following resolution and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS~ the City of R~nsey receives an annual allocation of <br />Community Develo~nt Bl~.k Grant (CDBG) funds from Anoka County; <br />and <br /> <br /> W~n%~ Anoka Count].~ is responsible for the allocation and <br />expenditure of CDBG funds fr~m the U.S. Department of Housing and <br />Urban Development; and <br /> <br /> WHEREA~ Anoka Country has requested the City to expend its <br />Fiscal Year 1985 allocatf~on of CDBG funds by December 31, 1986; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHERFAi~, the City ~equested an extension of six months to <br />spend outstanding CDBG funds in Ramsey Resolution #86-196; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, eligible expenditures of CDBG funds include <br />planning activities such ~.s land use and transportation studies; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS~ the City hal requested proposals for the completion <br />of a land use and tra~sportation study of the Highway 10 <br />corridor o <br /> <br />NGW ~EREFORE, BE ri' RE,ggLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATS OF MINNESOTA, as follcws: <br /> <br /> 1o That the City ~.~f Ramsey apply to Anoka County for <br />Community Develol~nent Bloc}~ Grant funds to be used for a study of <br />the Highw .ay i0 corridor° <br /> <br /> 2o T. hat a copy of theirs resolution and a preliminary project <br />request form be forwarded to the Anoka County Administrator. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Councilmembe~ and upon vote being taken <br />thereon, the foil(ming vot~ in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the foilcwing voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstaine(i: <br /> <br />and the foll~.~ing were abs~nt~ <br /> <br /> <br />
