10 Ninutes CAS~ ~16: <br /> <br />REQUEST FOR DIRECTION REGARDING ACQUISITION OF LAND/ <br />EASEHENTS FOR HU&TIPLE PURPOSE RECREATIONAL TRAILS <br />By: Anne Norris, Community Development Director <br /> <br />Background~ <br /> <br />The Park and Recreation Commission has been reviewing its Park and Open Space <br />Comprehensive Plan. As part of this review, the Commission has discussed <br />possible trail, alignments ~hro,ighout the City for multiple recreational uses <br />(hiking, biking, horses, snowmobiles, etc.). The current Park Plan proposes <br />the future development of recr~ational trail corridors along Trott and Ford <br />Brooks. <br /> <br />The Commission requested that ~he Council provide direction regarding trail <br />development through the City. Specifically, the Commission requested direction <br />from the Council regarding acq~isition of land or easements along Trott and <br />Ford Brooks for future trail d~velopment. <br /> <br />Enclosed for your' information ~s a map showing the Park and Open Space Plan for <br />the City. <br /> <br />Recommendation~ <br /> <br />Council action will be based o:~ your discussion. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br />Administrator .__ Chief of Police <br />Attorney .....
