10 ~inutes CASE t15: <br /> <br />REQUEST FOR PARTICIPATION IN PURCHASING PLAYGROUND EQUIPHENT; <br />CASE OF RAHSEY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL <br /> By~ Anne Norrif~, Community Development Director <br /> <br />Background~ <br /> <br />Ramsey Elementary School is proposing to acquire new play equipment (totaling <br />approximately $363000) for the Ramsey Elementary School playground. The school <br />is requesting that the City donate $10,000 to participate in these improvements. <br />The school has suggested that the City may wish to donate $7,000 towards the <br />purchase of the equipment and ~3~000 in labor to assist in the assembly of the <br />equipment. <br /> <br />A representative from Ramsey E]ementary School will be available at the meeting <br />to review the request with you, <br /> <br />Observations <br /> <br />The Park and Recreation Commis~io'a reviewed this request on April 9, 1987 and <br />recommended that she City participate by donating $10,000.
