FOIl THE PII0POSED <br />~IC~ OF <br /> ,..;.---' <br /> W~EREAS, it is the desire of the City of Ram~ey to improve the <br />transportation ayat~s ae~ing this community and other communities <br /> <br /> VHEREAS~ the proposed reallgnmen: of -~' ' 7 ~hroug~ <br />~aproai~ Street ~ ~nd connecting vith ~he City of Anoka's ~hurston A~enue <br />vould result in a significant i~provement in the transportation syst~ for this <br />region; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intent of the City of Ramsey to acquire <br />appropriate right-of-way for such a realignment of State Highway ~47. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT tLESOLYED BY TIlE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, A~NOKA <br />COUNT"f, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) That the City Engineer, Mr. Peter Raatikka of Hakanson Anderson <br /> Associate~_s_,~Inc., is hereby authorized ~o~prepa~_~e a right-of-way acquisition <br /> ~lan~fz~- t-he--p~p~e--~a4~i~mme~t cf £ta~Eigh~'-r=ay-~7 ,~~-Dysprosium Street <br /> /NW in Ramsey in connecting wit. h_~Thurston Avenue in the City of Anoka. <br /> <br />,,~t,','"'~ 2) Further, that the City of Ramsey urges the cooperation of the <br /> City of Anoka in acquiring the appropriate road rightiof-way through the City <br /> of Anoka to provide for the realignment of-~. <br /> <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br /> Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in <br /> favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey <br />City Council this the 28th day of April, 1987. <br /> <br /> <br />
