No. 47 and 167th Avenue <br />N.W. in Ramsey. <br /> <br />On May 7, 1987, I discussed the matter with Mr. Hudelik and he <br />informed me that your records show that no accidents have been <br />reported at that intersection. He also told me if the City of <br />Ramsey wanted additional study and investigation of that intersec- <br />tion, to make the request in writing to you. <br /> <br />The city has recently approved the construction of a 21,000 foot <br />shopping center in the southeast quadrant of the intersection. <br />A golf course and restaurant were recently constructed on the <br />east side of T.H. No. 47. City police records also show that.six <br />accidents have been reported over the past five years. <br /> <br />Based on the anticipated increase in traffic and previous acci- <br />dents, the City of Ramsey requests that additional studies and <br />investigations be conducted to determine if any signing or lighting <br />is warranted at the intersection of 167th Avenue and T.H. 47. <br />I am enclosing copies of the City's accident reports. <br /> <br />222 Monroe Street <br />Anoka, Minnesota 55303 <br /> <br />612/427-5860 <br /> <br />Eugene J.
