- <br />Measure local progress toward meeting the reg'QD/s affordable <br />hoUS'D{] goals <br />The Housing Policy Plan Indicators described on the previous pages and documented <br />on the next pages examine the progress of the region against the policies of this plan. <br />The Council also measures the progress of individual cities and townships toward local <br />affordable housing goals. From an accountability perspective, the Council maintains several <br />key measures at the local level: <br />* How many new housing units, both owner -occupied and rental, meet the Counoi|'o <br />criteria ofaffordability? <br />* How many existing housing units are affordable, including both owner -occupied and <br />rental, and subsidized and unoubeidized units? <br />p What ioeach local jurisdiction's Housing Performance Score?
