The difference between <br />them provides an adjustment that will help determine the share of each community's total <br />allocation t0place ineach band. <br />Table B-4 provides examples. In Chanhassen, the share of existing affordable units in the <br />0Y6-30Y6 band is lower than average (so the corresponding adjustment factor is positive), <br />while the shares in the 31Y6-50Y6 and 51Y6-80Y6 bands are higher than average (so those <br />adjustment factors are negative). Maplewood displays a different dynamic: relatively <br />higher shares in the 0%-30% and 31 %-50% bands, and a relatively lower share in the <br />51Y6-80Y6band. <br />Note that the shares of existing affordable housing within each band sum to 100% <br />(before rounding), as do the shares for the average community. <br />HOUSING POLICY PLAN Appendices <br />157 <br />
