8/7/78 <br /> <br />to brin.q the strret to a level of service as recommended by the City <br />Engineer. <br /> <br />Motion by Ron West, seconded by Art Dunn to recommend to the City Council <br />to acce~t Magnesium Street as a City Street with the condition that it <br />be brought up to City standards as determined by City En-gineer~ and that <br />a variance be granted to Norman Holm to allow a street in lenght of more <br />than 600 feet with a temporary turnaround. Motion carried 6-0. <br />Item 6. Don Greenber.g- Industrial Park. <br /> <br />~r. Greenberg was present with tn~ sketch plan for the industrial ~ark <br />(Gateway North)~ and a request to be allowed~ to have class 5 roads until <br />sewer and water available. Mr. Greenberg was mn.~ormed that the Council <br />has determined the timetable on paved roads for the plat Ramsey 67. Mr. <br />Greenberg e×plained th.a.t Mate Punch & Die and Be Be~ Inc.-had already <br />asked to nurchase adjacent lot and outlot, and that a party wanted to <br />be able to build on Lot 2, Blk 2 before ~,~_nter. (Uniform Manufacturing <br />business presently bein~ conducted in home in ~amsey). Mr. Greenberg <br />will tr.y to have necessary information for Public Hearing in September~ <br />and there was discussion of having final prepared at same time for"~re- <br />seutation to Council at same meeting. Mr. Greenberg was informed that <br />he would probably have to construct roads before any permits ~:.~ould be <br />allowed. As it was determined that Industrial Blvd. roadway was given <br />in lieu of Park !and~ this plat should not have to be reviewed by P & ~ <br />but tn~t they should be notiVied of this. <br /> <br />Iter~ 7. Misc. <br /> <br />Kathy Schneider asked A1 Sorteberg if he had read the minutes from P & R <br />and if he was in agreement with their decision regarding Park dedication. <br />Art Dunn stated that he felt they did not fully understand the problem as <br />it retrains to Ramsey. It was the comsensus of the Commission to invite <br />P & R to the September 5th meeting. <br /> <br />Approval of Minutes <br />Motion by A1 Sorteberg, seconded by Gerry Zimmerman to approve the minutes <br />of July 10th as read. Motion carried 5-0. Ron West abstained. <br /> <br />Motion by Ron ?,'est, seconded by Art Dunn to approve the minutes of July 31, <br />1978 as read. Motion carried 4-0. Gerry Zimmerman and Kathy Schneider <br />abstained. <br /> <br />Motion by Art Dunn~ seconded by A1 Sorteberg to adjourn.
