She said it is not to make big money or to have a big business. <br />She said she intended to keep it a small-type business for the people close <br />by. <br /> <br />Ben Deemer said he objected because of the increased traffic it would <br />bring to the neighborhood and he would not want to live next door to <br />a business of this type. <br /> <br />Art Dunn pointed out the many non-conforming uses in the city. <br /> <br />Harry Ellis said the commission can only recommend on those coming into <br />them in line with city ordinances and the commission doesn't have the <br />privilege of going out and stopping the non-conforming uses that are <br />presently going on. <br /> <br />Ben Deemer said if there is a complaint that is brought up by a citizen, <br />then the city can act on these problems. <br /> <br />Harry Ellis said this is felt to be a retail sales operation in an R-1 <br />district and a beauty shop is a home-occupation business. <br /> <br />P & Z Regular Meeting Page 4 10/3/80 <br /> <br /> <br />
