P & Z Page 3 <br />41118o- <br /> <br />Mr. Berg mentioned that Mayor Gamec had suggested hiring two people since <br />Arlene Stafford is becoming more involved in the Police Dept. <br />Mayor Gamec had also been able to sit in on the meeting with the gentleman from <br />Duluth and briefly review his resume. Mayor Gamec had explained that the City <br />would not hire anyone w~th~dverts~ng and interviewing all applicants. <br />Both Gerry Zimmerman and Ben Deemer stated that they did not want to overload <br />present staff. <br /> <br />Motion by Kathy Schneider, seconded by Ben Deemer that in the event handling <br />of Arlene Peddycoarts past duties will create overload on present staff, the <br />Comm~ission recommendsthat the City Council hire an individual as a Planning <br />and Zoning Aide with job description similar to Arlene Peddycoarts.
