5 Minutes CASE ~9: <br /> <br /> ORDER PLA~S A~D SPECIFICATIONS FOR <br />HUNTER'S HILL STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT ~87-23 <br />By: Pete Raatikka, City Engineer <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />At the City Council meeting of June 23, 1987, the Council held the public <br />hearing for the Hunter's Hill street improvement project. The 60 day waiting <br />period following the hearing will expire on August 22, 1987. <br /> <br />It is anticipated that the improvements can be constructed in October of this <br />year. However, if the weather is unfavorable, completion of the project will <br />be delayed until the spring of 1988. <br /> <br />Enclosed is a proposed resolution for ordering preparation of plans and <br />specifications. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />Since the 60 day waiting period following the public hearing will expire on <br />August 22, 1987 and no petition objecting the project was submitted, I <br />recommend that Council order plans and specifications. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Motion to: <br />Adopt Resolution #87- authorizing the City Engineer to prepare plans <br />and specifications for Street Improvement Project #87-23 (Hunter's Hill). <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br />Administrator X <br />Attorney <br />Engineer X <br />Community Development Director <br /> <br />Chief of Police <br />Finance Officer <br />Public Works Superintendent <br />Other <br /> <br /> <br />
