5 Minutes CASE ~15: REQUEST TO RELEASE MENKVELD MOBILE HOME PARK PURCHASE AND LEASE];ACK t~y: Bill Goodrich, City Attorney Background: In 1973 Ramsey Township and Mr. Gilbert Menkveld entered into a purchase and leaseback agreement. The purpose of the agreement was to provide for a municipal sewer system to serve Menkveld's proposed mobile home park. The Township had previously, 1972, granted a special use permit to Mr. Menkveld for the construction of the mobile home park. Mr. Menkveld never proceeded with the project. Mr. Menkveld now desires to have the City release the agreement. This is necessary to Mr. Menkveld because the agreement has been recorded with the County Recorder, and therefore, affects title to his real estate. Enclosed are the following items for your information: a) Original mobile home park special use permit b) Original purchase and leaseback agreement c) Document Mr. Menkveld now desires the City to sign to effectuate the release Ob servation[: The City Engineer will report at the meeting regarding any City need to retain easements over the property. If the City is to release the purchase and leaseback agreement, we should also have Mr. Menkveld release the special use permit at the same time.
