-3- O, "Wild Animal" means a mammals large or poisonous reptile and bird which, Jn their uncaptured wild state, have the physcJal capacity to be danger- ous to the safety and welfare of any person or property. Examples of such wJJd animals are (but not limited to these examples) bears, lions, wolves, coyotes, cougars, bison, tJgers~ panthers, monkeys, apes, large alligators and crocodiles (greater than four feet in length), large snakes, (greater than six feet), and poisonous snakes~ excluding dogs~ cats, other traditional house pets and livestock. Reducing such mammals, reptiles and birds to Captivity, whether trained, raised or bred in captivity or otherwise considered domesticated in any man- ner, shall not remove such wild animals from these requirements and regula- tions. 110.183 GENERAL REGULATIONS Subdivision I. Prohibition. No person shall keep a wild animal unless such a use Js specifically permitted by this ordinance and ail regulations are com- pliec; with. Subdivision 2. Regulations. A. Enclosures. (l) A wild animal shall be confined, sheltered and led in a primary enclo- sure contained entirely within a secondary enclosure. (2) All such primary and secondary enclosures shall meet minimum re- quirements of swuctural soundness and security as deemed satisfactory by the City. All primary and secondary enclosures - (a) shall be cons'.ruc~ed of steel bar, link, wire or other suitable material of sufficient strength ~o contain the proposed animal; (b) shall be adequately braced and securely anchored at ground level; (c) shall be constructed such as to prevent a wild animal from digging out from under the enclosure; (d) shall be key or combination locked to prevent unauthorized en- trance; (e) shall be located so that all access to primary enclosures must be from within the secondary enclosure; shall be adequately ¢;~"=~ ' *-o .... zo notify the~,,,.~,,.~:;~ o~ the presence
