EDC <br />recommended that this expenditure be derived from the $50,000 allocated by <br />City Council for economic development activities. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Sorteberg and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to <br />approve a $1600.00 maximum expenditure for a portable video monitor/ <br />recorder. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Councilmember DeLuca stated that he feels more <br />research into portable video units and prices should be pursued. Council <br />directed that Councilmember DeLuca supervise the purchase of the video <br />monitor by researching other suppliers and costs. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />DeLuca and Pearson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case ~14: .Implementation Of The Clean Indoor Air Act: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Pearson and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to <br />adopt Resolution ~87-261 implementing the Clean %ndoor Air Act practices <br />for the City of Ramsey Municipal Center. (Please refer to resolution file <br />for Resolution #87-261). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />DeLuca and Pearson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #l~_t Request To Release Menkveld Mobile Home Park Purchase <br /> Leaseback A~reement: <br /> <br />It was reported that Mr. Menkveid is requesting the City to release the <br />purchase and leaseback ~greement intended to provide for a municipal sewer <br />system to serve Menkveld's proposed mobile home park. If this is done, Mr. <br />Menkveld should release the special use permit for a mobile home park but <br />he is reluctant to do so. <br /> <br />Council tabled any action. <br /> <br />Case ~16: Request For ExtensioD Of. Copditional Use Permit To Grade Aq~ <br /> Excavate: Case Of Waste M~na~ement Of Minnesota~ Inc.: <br /> <br />Mr. Terry Miller of Waste Management of Minnesota, Inc. was present and <br />stated that their grading permit was dated November 26, 1985 but the <br />process in obtaining it took 6 months and the permit was not actually <br />signed until April 10, 1986. 2"ne two year expiration date was based on the <br />November 26:1985 date and results in t~e holders of the permit losing 6 <br />months of what was supposed to be a 2 year permit.
