In the adjacent properties there is Small World <br />Daycare Center, Oakridge Construction & Realty, Inc., Chips on 10, Super Bowl, <br />Northern Oxygen, a church and seven residences immediately south. An asphalt <br />plant will be a direct health hazard for the children plus the residents. The <br />installation of a asphalt plantv•would..directly affect and lower the property values <br />in the immediate area. <br />Truck traffic with an entrance and exit to the site would be hazardous to <br />everyone traveling Highway 10. <br />The smell from the plant would be obnoxious and cause health hazards to <br />anyone living or conducting a business to the area. <br />If the city of Ramsey wants future development, then this type of business <br />will only become a detriment to the community.
