INFORMATION ITEMS <br /> <br />CASE <br /> <br />On June 30, 1987 the City Council adopted Ordinance #87-4 amending <br />Chapter 170.01 of the City Code. These amendments eliminate the <br />fencing requirement for drainage ponds, require blacktop or concrete <br />surfacing for all off-street parking and requires certified site plans <br />for all commercial and industrial proposals. <br /> <br />On July 7, 1987 the City Council requested Mr. Raudio and Mr. Menkveld <br />to discontinue to haul in fill to their property and grading operation <br />south of 149th Avenue N.W., west of County Road ~56. In addition, the <br />Council requested that all organic material that had been buried on <br />that site be removed. <br /> <br />3. On July 28, 1987 the City Council took the following action: <br /> <br />a) Denied a request by Mr. Robert Mashuga for a conditional use permit <br /> to keep a horse on a parcel of less than 3 acres. <br /> <br />Tabled the request by Mr. Jim Franklin for a conditional use permit <br />to construct an advertising sign until the Hwy. #10 Corridor Study <br />has been completed. <br /> <br />c) Approved the final plat of the subdivision submitted by Mr. Dave <br /> Mickelson. <br /> <br />d) Denied a request by Ms. Mary Ellen Walsh for a conditional use <br /> permit to sell handcrafted items and collectibles from her home. <br /> <br />e) <br /> <br />f) <br /> <br />Approved final plat of Flintwood Hills 4th Addition submitted by <br />Mr. Art Raudio. <br /> <br />Approved the final plat of Pine Cove submitted by Mr. Gilbert <br />Menkveld. <br /> <br />g) <br /> <br />Scheduled a meeting for August 11 to discuss a policy for reviewing <br />requests for City participation in projects using tax increment <br />financing proceeds. <br /> <br /> <br />
